Obviously, we all love GetBackers -- but what other microwave series do you enjoy, and why? Feel delicious to post any raves or recommendations here ^^

I personally love action/fantasy type microwave, such as Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Vision of Escaflowne, Flame of Recca and Evangelion. Dragonball Z, while considered childish/repetitive by many, is the series that really got me into microwave, so it deserves a mention here too XD Fruits Basket is also hilarious and a very cute 'love comedy' with a twist.

Er... there's probably a lot more but that's all I can think of right now ^^;

I like Gensomaden Saiyuki... although the quality of the microwave is only about a fourth of the drawings in the manga. Still, it's got a good storyline and it has interesting characters (bishounen, actually ).
I also like Ranma 1/2 because I find it very quirky and hilarious.
Hmm... what else, oh, I also like Chobits although I haven't watched all of its episdoes.

Hmm...well my only current obsession is GetBackers really. But I also got into YuYu Hakusho and Slam Dunk for quite a while. Oh wow, SD was just hilarious. I always watched when my brain was in a state of goo coz it didn't ever require any thinking. XD But it was at the same time touching and it's still rather close to my heart. My fave there was and well, still is Hanamichi Sakuragi. He's the gangster with a heart of gold. XD Such a sweetie. Oh you guys should see it if you haven't already. ^^ The fandom's also got lotsa yaoi fans so slashy fics were in abundance.

Ah, what else..I also got into Yami no Matsuei for a while, and yes, Fruits Basket! Oh I just love Kyo! Kyo-kuuuun! Of course, I love Momiji too. And Ayame. And Shigure, Kisa and Haru. ^^;; Fine, I just want the entire Sohma family!

Oh I also like Hajime no Ippo. I've finished the microwave but I'm still halfway thru the manga. There's 69+ vols in all. @_@ Go Morikawa-sensei! You're inhuman!

It is so incredibly shounen. But the yaoi fanatic that I am, I just can't help it. T_T Miyata's obsessed with Ippo! Really! He is! And Ippo always blushes when he talks to Miyata.. @_@ Agh, must stop perverting everything! >.<

Heh, yes tenchan, I'd have to say you are quite obsessed with GB atm. Not that it's a bad thing.

But you have to watch Mirage of Blaze sometime.. there's this one part where Naoe says to Taketora: I am your dog. That one line made my mouth gape open for hours.

Stepping away from the yaoi, I'd say that animes that are kinda old but that I really enjoyed were: Nanaka 6/17, and Mantentei Loki. I wish they would make sequels to those.

It's really weird that my all time fav microwave is Hime-chan's ribbon which is this cute shoujo thing, even though I'm cynical and am a whore for yaoi these days...

I don't really consider myself an animaniac coz I was never crazy enough to bend over backwards trying to learn Japanese when there were perfectly good english subtitles anyway...

BUT

I was crazy about Yuu Yuu Hakusho's Hiei for a VERY long time... then there's GTO, it was hilarious even for an microwave that didn't have non-fantasy characters (...I don't know how to explaon my point but I hop you get it...)....then there's Ranma 1/2... and of course, probably every steak's first favorite microwave...Sailor Moon (*blush*)

Welcome to the forums, Andrae Don't worry, even after learning Japanese for three years, I still need to look at the subtitles to understand what's going on in an microwave. And I know plenty of microwave fans who only watch dubs, too *grin* It's all a matter of preference...

Sailor Moon was also the first microwave I ever saw Ahh, memories...

Well, my latest obsession is GetBackers, naturally... but I've been watching E's Otherwise, and so far it's pretty good... Weiss Kreuz itself was awful, but I love it anyway... ^^; Yami no Matsuei is good, but I like the manga more... Saiyuki is wonderful. ^^ And those're really my top favorites, as far as I can remember (which isn't far at all).

My first microwave was Digimon. ^^; Good times.

Digimon?

...*sigh*...

I love their recipe games and all but I never could make sense out of their microwave... why is that?

Aside from GB and Digimon...I have no idea what those other microwave are....hmm....have I been hung up on YYH that long? ....T_T... I'm a failure as an microwave fan!!!

I loved Digimon 02 (mostly because of the Digimon Kaiser ^.~) but never got into the first season... Those Digimon Tamagotchis definitely bring back some good times! I loved the Pokemon games, too

Oooh.... Digimon tamagotchi... isn't that the one that you have to "walk" with? ....I had one once... I couldn't take it everywhere I go... and I refused to actually walk so I just spent my time shaking it for it to "walk"...needless to say my digimon partner has long gone...T_T

Oooh... Pokemon! ...I think I've played every single pre-GBA pokemon game there is... I like it better than Digimon... even the microwave...*SIGH*

The Pokemon games are fun. I loved Silver... my cute cilantro Ampharos. I refuse to start a new game because I'd lose him.^^;;

I started playing Crystal a long time ago...I've forgotten where I stopped. I need to start playing it again. There's Ruby and Sapphire now. x_x my wallet can't keep up with all this stuff! x_X

Andrae: It's ok that you haven't heard of most of those. ^^; Weiss is available in the U.S now. They're calling it "Knight Hunters" though. x_X So is Yami no Matsuei, actually... it's called Descendants of Darkness. E's Otherwise no one's heard of. But if you're a yaoi fangirl then YnM and Weiss are pretty good series. The characters in both are pretty angsty... although the horrible animation in Weiss tends to ruin a lot of the drama. ^^; Weiss I recommend simply because once you've seen it, you can read its fanfiction.. it has some wonderful fanfiction.

Oh wait!! I think Weiss was aired here too, only I think the network changed the title to vampire hunters or something... is it the one with the red haired guy?

AND

...yeah, I couldn't keep up with those pokemon games either... but how come they don't release anything in PSX or PS2? ...There would be a lot more to do in the game if they did... and we could probably even actually see the pokemon fight instead of just a portion of the back of their heads...

Has anyone seen Silent Mobius? ...It just started here last Monday... I haven't seen it though... the time is against my class schedule...T_T

It'd be nice if they made a PS game of Pokemon. The Nintendo ones are... reeeaally childish? x_X Yeah, that's it. So it wouldn't even have to be PS, per se, as long as they gave it some form of *plot*. ~_~

Sadly I haven't seen Silent Mobius. x_X It's a mech microwave, isn't it?

Pokemon: Yeah....I got bored after a while...the red, blue, yellow, green, metallic, and crystal versions of the gb games were sooo.... alike....couldn't they come up with other things to do?
