yeah.. thank goodnes there are a lot of fil workers and tourist in hongkong, hahaha! the tourist bus is full of them XD

Symphony_572- 07-19-2006
i'm not surprised. hong kong is a biiiig tourist attraction.

Seph- 07-19-2006
I wonder why though. It's a small island taken over by a concrete jungle, not manny attractions but a heck a lot of people.

Symphony_572- 07-20-2006
It's a port city, lots of culture, very VERY good food, cheap stuff, expensive stuff, legal stuff, bootleg, just lots of things to do. Not necessarily tourist attractions.

I think it maybe because of the toys XD they have great toys!

Seph- 07-20-2006
Well, they're close to Japan, that's true. *Thinks* But I was wondering why is it such a huge tourist attraction. Food surely couldn't be the only reason, and they speak a completely different language.... Ah wells.

scared- 07-22-2006
because.. of the cheap stuff?

Seph- 07-23-2006
... Why not China? I heard China's even cheaper.

scared- 07-23-2006
maybe hongkong is more industrialized.. or something

Symphony_572- 07-23-2006
it's not an ugly city either^^ mainland china has cheap stuff in every sense of the word. cheap in quality and price.

most countries in europe speak a totally different language, and people like to go there don't they?

Seph- 07-23-2006
But at least it's a western language that has some words common with English, or better yet, English is usable itself.

Symphony_572- 07-24-2006
mm, that's true, except I know in france they ignore you if you try to talk to them in english....maybe not the tourists sights...

Seph- 07-26-2006
Well, they can't ignore everyone if they work in the tourist area. After all, what's the possibility of all tourists speaking French? They'll end up running out of business.

Symphony_572- 07-26-2006
yeah, that's what I meant, except the tourist sights.
